Meoto Iwa 夫婦岩

It's been a while since I have blogged, but here we go again...

On Sunday Iain and I went for a drive along the coast to get some air and some sun, we ended up in Mie Prefecture. Meoto Iwa are lovers rocks that represent husband (big rock) and wife (small rock) that have been tied together with a rope that weighs over a tonne.

More about that at Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meoto_Iwa

We also went to Mikimoto Pearl Island, interesting if you're into pearls but not so photogenic.
